Media has become a powerful source of knowledge, and a great breakthrough in human history. Who can regret that media is a daily need in our lives. Media has the ability and control to adjust to all levels of knowledge in people. Media helps us to escape from our daily lives and our problems in times of stress. Thou Media as proved to be beneficial by educating, entertaining and informing us, it has also have its downfall, to cause many bad influences to the younger audience. Media has influenced us to conduct bad behavior, breed violence among teens and fear to the public, thus causing a lot of negative conflicts among ourselves. Television, Music, Internet, and more, are just some of the media exposure that needs to be censored and†¦show more content†¦Well it’s as easy as buying a fresh drink from the dollar store. Minors can enter an illegal age number, and he can have access to as much as an actual adult can, including Chat rooms, Pornography, explicated music and videos with extreme violence. Therefore media should be censored so that we are able to keep minors away from things that are inappropriate to them, and stop the breeding of these negative behaviors. The Media of today is so open to violence that it’s almost impossible to avoid. Through movies, Violence is another issue that needs to be censored in the media. It is exposed through music’s, with lyrics that refer to violent mental pictures of rape, sex, and money. In Movies, violence is shown through scenes where people are getting their head cut off, using of guns and knives, and violence against woman. The problem is that many of us look into these exposures has influences and role models, which is why we emulate them and as a result, breeding violence against ourselves. Many rap music show today are simply about drugs, jail, woman and killing, and because teenagers look up to them, it’s inevitable that they will soon practice life expressed through the lyrics. But violence is nearly impossible to get rid of. Just by watching the news, you can see and hear about violence that occurs every day.
